Leaning on twenty year's commercial experience of testing, quality assurance, product ownership and deployment management, I have worked as a contractor for the past ten years and can join any team to provide first-class services.  Clients have included DLA Piper, Greater Manchester Police, and Premier Farnell.

Achievements include successful rollout of updated Windows platform and devices, co-ordinating the testing of hundred of applications and websites in parallel, and migrating to cloud-based architecture.  My passion is for championing the users and delivering solutions that truly satisfy their needs and simplify the mechanics of their day-to-day roles.

Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Performance

A secondary service is our ability to asses the performance of PL/SQL packages on Oracle databases, based upon years of passion in this field.

This service is remote and cannot be offered on-site.  If you have deep performance issues with your Oracle database that cannot be rectified by standard DBA operations, then please contact us for an assessment of your PL/SQL software.

In our experience, most software that has been developed in layers over time by multiple developers will typically see a 10% increase in performance by making trivial optimisations.  For complex routines - especially those working with very large tables - it is not uncommon to see order-of-magnitude improvements.
